About MVSystems
Company facts: MVSystems was created in 1989 in Golden Colorado, USA, by Dr. Arun Madan. Arun’s pioneering work on amorphous silicon and thin film transistors (TFTs) at the University of Dundee in the early 70s paved the way for today’s flat panel displays and thin film silicon solar cells. In 2015 the company was reorganized under new ownership as MVSystems LLC. All key personnel and intellectual property remained with the company.
Technology: MVSystems area of expertise focuses on the deposition of thin films for electronics applications. Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD), Hot wire CVD (HWCVD), Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD), Sputtering and Evaporation are some of the processes employed by MVS to produce materials such as amorphous and nanocrystalline silicon, dielectrics (e.g. SiNx, SiOx , Al2O3, TiO2), transparent semiconductors, such as ZnON, and transparent conductive oxides (TCOs).
Manufacture and commercialization of sophisticated deposition systems: MVSystems designs, builds and delivers world-class ultra-high vacuum (UHV) single and multi-chamber deposition systems for R&D, prototype production and small production lines. As part of the systems sales, we specifically guarantee state of the art opto-electronic properties of thin film semiconductors such as amorphous and nanocrystalline silicon, dielectrics and transparent conductive oxides (TCOs).
Global reach: Presently our systems have been installed in 23 countries around the world.
